The Queensway Carleton Hospital is a designated Ontario Breast Screening Program and plays a regional role in breast cancer screening and diagnosis, performing more than 7500 mammograms annually. They recently launched a major campaign to raise funds for a 3D mammography machine to ensure they can offer patients the latest in diagnostic imaging technology. Recognizing the importance of such a machine for more accurate breast screening, earlier diagnosis and ultimately saving more lives, CURE is committed to supporting this campaign with a $100,000 gift over 2 years.
