June Buckle

June Buckle (@dundagirl) celebrates 6 years of being a cancer conquerer. Diagnosed in 2012 with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer, June's first thought was "what is going to happen with my child?"

A single parent, June's daughter was turning 12 at the time of her diagnosis. After an intense battle consisting of 4 rounds of chemotherapy, a mastectomy, followed by 6 weeks of radiation, June was declared cancer-free.

Celebrating with her daughter remains as one of the highlights in her cancer journey. She is proud to be a positive example to her daughter and is grateful she can help others along their journey with cancer. Today, we honour women like June who show us the meaning of #IAmTheFight.
